Our Jackson History

Jennie Brown Jackson b.1827 as a slave in the state of South Carolina, also her husband. they both was sold to the State of Alabama as slaves. to this union was born as we know Peggy born 1842 Alabama and Julius the youngiest born Alabama. they both was one half Cherokee Indian and part Jamaican, and African American. Peggy and Julius they were taken from their family at an early age and sold at a public auction in the State of Alabama. Peggy and Julius both was used as household servants.
